Welcome to Guangzhou Nanhu International School . As the Principal, my goal is to work with the GNIS Community in providing quality education, setting high expectations, and creating a caring community for all students. Our motto is “Striving Towards Excellence,” not only as students in academic and sporting pursuits but also as teachers in the lessons we teach and the example we set.

We believe that we never stop learning and want all of our children to develop a love of learning and be equipped with the skills to be life long learners.

GNIS is a diverse community of students, staff and families where all members value and demonstrate acceptance of difference and respect for self and others. It is a place where all feel welcome. We pride ourselves on the level of cooperation, support and compassion that comes through in the way all members of our community interact.

Our staff and parent community at GNIS are what make this place so special. Our staff is student-centered, caring, and motivated toward the success of all students. Our parents are very supportive and actively help out with many activities throughout the school.

The students are why we are here. They not only strive to excel academically, but are also learning about respect, ethical values, and social skills, which we at GNIS consider to be equally important. We strive to create an environment where students feel safe, comfortable, and respected.
