Guangzhou Nanhu International School (GNIS) is a non-profit international school providing a high quality education to the children of expatriates in Guangzhou. The school offers a British style education based on the National Curriculum of the UK, to children from the age of 3 to 18.
In keeping with its commitment to being a centre of academic excellence, we have quickly gained a reputation as a school which provides a caring environment for its students and encourages the pursuit of excellence in academic and extracurricular activities. GNIS keeps its class sizes smaller than most schools and our pupils enjoy learning in a warm, family-oriented environment. Academic emphasis is on the key skills, particularly at primary level, then from Year 9 onwards, on providing our pupils with a balanced and effective preparation for IGCSE or A-level examinations.
GNIS is accredited by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and Edexcel London Examinations Syndicate. We are also registered with the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).
