GNIS has an active student council each academic year. The Student Council consists of four officers (president, vice-president, secretary, and a treasurer) and one representative from each level from Year 5 through 11. The student council represents the views of the student body to the faculty and administration. In addition the Student Council is involved in the development of school practices as will as organizing and providing a variety of community service activities and student social events.
